The Nicer Mk2
Description and Instructions
Use a computer keyboard to jam cue points and experiment with different fx combos to create slicer-like results.
Mark 2 uses loops instead of Beatmasher to create the effect. Watch vid for more info.
1) Set a 1-bar or 2-bar loop with 4 or 8 hotcues on the fly.
2) Set FX manually or use pre-sets. Or use the randomizer!
3) Jam hotcues like a slicer.
4) Change FX on the fly.
5) Delete all hotcues with a single btton
- In order for the presets to work, you'll have to import my Effect Settings too. This requires importing the mapping twice.
- Disable all other keyboard mappings.
- In Preferences/Effects/FX Unit Routing, uncheck "Restore parameters when switching FX".
- Each track should have a beat grid and Snap Mode should be on.
- Delete all existing hotcues in the track.
My FX presets are:
1) Delay 0.8
2) Laser Slicer 0.69
3) Filter Pulse 0.83
4) Flanger Flux 0.48 Peak Filter 0.58 Delay 0.8
