Description and Instructions

Thanks for checking out my mapping! Here is the original walk through video:


Right now the LED feedback only works in version 1.7.6

To load this mapping copy the XML file into your Music/Serato/Midi/XML folder. You can then load this mapping from the midi tab in the set up menu of Serato DJ.

Load the NCM2 by opening the controller editor and on the right side below the list of templates click edit and then new. Navigate to where ever you have saved this mapping and click open.

After those three steps you're ready to go!!

Hit Shift + Control to put Maschine in Midi mode.


Pad Bank A - Hot Cues for deck one and two.

Pad Bank B - Flips

Pad Bank C - SP6

Pad Bank D - Loops

Pad Bank E - Delete Hot Cues for deck one and two

Pad Bank F - Hot Cue, Flip, Loop control for deck three

Pad Bank G - Pressure FX

Pad Bank H - Beatjump

Hi DJ Divine Justice. Can you modifier some button to Delete Hot cue such as hit some transport button (PLAY,REC,ERASE) + HOT CUE on GROUP A?

Hi DJ DIVINE JUSTICE, I honestly love your name, Divine Justice is something I thoroughly believe in. Nevertheless, I love your video, crazy creativity, and willingness to share this knowledge. I have a question. When you say, "to load this mapping copy the XML file into your Music/Serato/Midi/XML folder" I do not know what you mean. I do not know where to put this XML file. cant seem to get pad d looping to work. pad d looping works on version 1.5 but that the loop roll function dosnt work.

hey man - really good stuff here. thanks for putting in the time to map all of this. quick question - i can't get any of the cues to correspond to their cue color when in Group A. the white is correct when there's no cue present, but i can't get the color to show when there are cues. is there something i need to hack at in the XML file?

Did you start by going in to Serato DJ setup and load the mapping first?

Yup definitely loaded your pressure mapping in Serato DJ and made sure the check box for the Midi lights is also checked. I am using a Rane 62...do you think they conflict with your mapping?

Possibly. I am going over to my friend's house who has a 62 today and I will check. I had to change the midi notes before to mirror the dicers. Thanks for the feedback!!

I tried it with Dicers, Machine MK2, and a 62 last night as it seemed to work. Make sure are you on version 1.7.6 Serato changed something in 1.7.7 that disabled my LED feedback.

ah i gotcha. i think i tried it on 1.7.7 and i just upgraded to 1.7.8. thanks for trying man - i really appreciate it. just curious though, what line of the XML file would it be? i bet if i could hunt that down i can hack around and find where the update broke your LED mapping.
