There are four toggles to switch the 8x8 Matrix Buttons between ...
1. Sequencer
2. Sequence Length
3. Sample Selection
4. Slot FX Amount

The JPG should explain it all. As per request, the Slots are arranged horizontally.

In case you don't use beatsync and the remix deck jumps out of phase there is a dedicated PhaseSync Trigger on the button in the bottom right corner, the one without LED feedback. I don't like doubletapping Sync for that.

If you are into mapping, the other two JPGs explain which midi key is assigned to which button. The mapping itself is sorted by button for easy reengineering. the rightside buttons are called vertical, the bottom ones are called horizontal buttons (all in the assignment comments). The Matrix buttons are numberd like a chess board, like this:
