and it seems to be connected somehow withh the 9th cell of the 3rd pattern.. ive notived that this happens if i press one of thoose buttens while in volume and fx page.

one more thing, sorry, just so love the mapping and want to really use this live. in the 'sample overview' the selected samples: Yellow on green: ok yellow on red: ok red on yellow: can you change to green on yellow instead of red on yellow ?(column 5 and 6 yellow, active = green) red on orange: : can you change to green on orange (column 7 and 8 orange, active = green) Would be awesome !

Did a bit more testing now, stills seems fine. One thing though: I want to use the step sequencer mainly for adding drum sounds. As they are used as short one-shots, it seems crucial to disable the sync button on each of the individual samples (not from the remix deck itself). If this is not done, then some of the drum sounds are kind of "stuttering" or not playing on the steps I programmed. Don't know whether this is an issue with this mapping, or with the step sequencer itself, but if the sync is switched off properly, everything works fine. Back to mixing now :)

I've noticed that if the samples transient isn't at the very start of the sample, then it will play that sample slightly out of time. The only way I can see a workaround would be to use a wave editor and remove any silence from the start of the offending sample.

I'm not sure if you can have a VU meter, whilst also having lights for the volume but I might be able to make the lights pump underneath, wherever the volume might be set at. I'm not entirely sure what you mean for the fx, do you mean turning the fx off on the mixer?

You can enable/disable fx PER SLOT so not the fx the channel but in each slot. Look at the original NI F1 remix deck mapping, here you can dedicate wich slot has fx enabled/disabled. If fx volume for this slot is 100% dry you could consider putting fx s end off for this channel (lowest row) from the moment you give small wet auto turn on fx. Don, t know if it's usefull but it could be considered.

I'm not sure if that's useful. If the fx volume is down, then there isn't any sound going to the fx modules. I don't think turning off the fx from the slot would help if I'll be honest. I could set the buttons down the right hand side to toggle slot fx and fx send from the mixer. This mode would be only available from the volume menu. What do you think about that?

I have an update for this mapping that's nearly finished. The way the LED's light up have been improved and I think that's what you're asking for. I'm also going to look into other ways of controlling Traktor with this, so thanks for your suggestions.

I'm glad you like it, I'm having lots of fun with this myself. I wanted to have the ability to mute the slots but I don't think there's a control for it. Unless I'm being really dense. Hopefully, NI will be adding on some more features to the step sequencer in the future. I quite like having the sample selector but I could make an extra mode on user 2, if you like? Would that be a good compromise?
