Description and Instructions
Disclaimer: I no longer maintain this mapping (there has not been an update since September 2014).
There should be no reason why it will still not work, just test it thoroughly before using live.
If you edit this mapping or fix any issues that arise due to Traktor updates, please upload them as a version of this mapping for others to enjoy.
4 Decks X1 Mk2
This mapping gives access to controls for all 4 Traktor decks. It replicates the default mapping for Kontrol X1 MK2 as closely as possible.
How To Use This Mapping
Set the NHL mode to control decks A and B when connecting the device / starting Traktor.
To enter Midi mode hold shift, left load and right load together. You will now have control of decks C and D.
To return to NHL mode hold shift, left load and right load together. You will now have control of decks A and B.
Setup

Unzip the download file.

Load the .nckx1m2 file using NI controller editor.

Import the .tsi file to Traktor
Current Limitations (Only when in MIDI mode)
- Cue LED colours are not all correct. White is no Cue, Pale blue is Grid, the others are coloured as on screen.

The Touchstrip can only control 1 deck a time, the deck it controls is selected by touching the loop encoders. Load Left/Right LEDs indicate which is being controlled.

When deck is not playing Touchstrip functions as jog turn moves the playhead / scratches).

When deck is playing Touchstrip pitchbends. Touching the outer left portion will slow the track, the outer right portion will speed up the track.

When shift is pressed the Touchstrip acts a jog turn (playing) and needle drop (paused).

LEDs do not always update when switching modes. To be safe push shift and either load left or right to update all LEDs.
- The Number LEDs do not show real values only 0 to 127 to show the control value (63 is middle).

hi
I just quickly imported it on TRAKTOR PRO 3, it works fine for track A & B, but only loop size work for track C & D...
update needed :)

Work recently with the X1 mk2 // 4 Decks. My Tounderbolt Audio card loses contact now, I think the original NI programming is not clean !?

Hello, does this mapping is available for windows?? I really look for a mapping to control 4 decks on 1 x1 mk2.

What's the proper in-port / out port on the controller manager device in Traktor. I had it setup up properly the first time around, a month back, and used it without any issues for a dew weeks.... then had to reconfigure some stuff on Ableton and used a different generic MIDI device/mapping on traktor to make ableton's clock sync with my traktor clock, while using my Push (also without any issues) ... then when i went to use my X1 in MIDI mode again, now it's not reacting at all ... and now '88' doesn't appear on the Deck screens as before (but instead I see 0 and then when i move the loop encoder it changes to 1 or 127 and never reverts back to '0' ... im at a complete loss... and have tried multiple combinations of Traktor Virtual Input and Output, and using my Traktor A10 as the input and/or output... basically i've just been troubleshooting blindly... :-( ...
Load the .nckx1m2 file using NI controller editor Open Template... then imported the .tsi file to Traktor in controller manager / add / import TSI .... any ideas?
