This mapping file is a modified version of the VCI-400 EGE mapping version 2.1.3 (flashflooder edit). It fixes the sound dropouts which occurr while switching FX (xFaderFX, LOOPfx and JogFX) by re-setting the Dry/Wet amount while switching FX via the 4 macro FX buttons.

Please note that this is only the first device section of the full three part DJTT VCI-400SE v2.1.3 mapping without the "Mapping ADDON" and the "GRID" sections. So, to use this, first load the original DJTT VCI-400SE v2.1.3 mapping, and then load this one (probably you want to unassign or delete the first part of the original mapping afterwards to let this one take its place).

This mapping is only fully compatible with Traktor 2.6 or greater.

Modifications

Global Deck Controls

• Using 14bit signal for Direct Tempo Control
  (Shift + Tempo fader). Experimental, currently modified only for decks A and B. Seems to enhance the precision of the pitch fader a little bit. There seem to be no negative side effect to this.
  

Deck Transport Buttons

• Cue 1-4 FX Section Tab (Red button LEDs)

  • Each of the 4 red buttons now resets the Dry/Wet when the FX preset is de-activated by pressing the active buton a second time.

  • Activation of xFaderFX preset 3 now initializes the Dry/Wet for FX unit1 to 0.0, instead of initializing it to 1.0. The Crossfader left/right position signal initializes the Dry/Wet amount to the required non-zero value anyway.

  • Activation of xFaderFX preset 4 now does not initialize the Dry/Wet for FX unit1 to 1.0. This FX unit is not used for this preset anyway.

• Loop Section (Green LEDs)

• Selection of a LOOPfx Macro preset will now initialize Dry/Wet to 0.0 for FX 1 (for A/C) or 3 (for B/D) instead of initilizing Dry/Wet to 0.9 or 1.0.
  
  
• Instead, moving the jog wheel will initialize Dry/Wet to 0.9 for FX 1 (for A/C) or 3 (for B/D) for the LOOPfx Macro preset.
  

• JogFX Section (Amber LEDs, Jogwheel LED Red)

  • Selection of a JogFX preset will now initialize Dry/Wet of the two activated FX units to 0.0 instead of leaving the value uninitialized.
