Jay Dizzle´s Track Preparation Mapping For Traktor Kontrol X1

Description and Instructions

This is a mapping for preparation of tracks. Such as beatgrid preps, hotcue settings and so on. Whit It means you can prep up a song in less than 30 sec. Especially on the fly.

Version 1.0

Note that there are some knobs/buttons that are not mapped.
Im happy to recieve sugestions for these =)

please post feedback or like/dislike

and if you have any questions, let me know.

Note that this is only a midimode mapping. You can add your Own or default X1 mapping to control playback and such. Or you can try mine (https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/1766).

To install:

just click The add button in controller manager under devices.
import The .tsi file

this is not a Main mapping, so no need to use The "Big" import button.

PS: This is a Remake of Photojojo´s mapping(Big Credz to him).
Problem downloading or other issues? Let us know on the forum.

HI Jay DIzzle what about to add a button for the function : Add next to preparation list maybe this is useful when you check and prep your tracks and want them to be in a playlist for your next show or mixtape ... maybe replace the : Rec ON/OFF .... GREAT MAPPING greets
Jaime Gavela over 9 years ago

Yeah. Sure. I'll replace rec on/off.

still getting only the xml file. Is that what I use to import the xml file. I'm very confused.

Jaime Gavela over 10 years ago

change the file name to .tsi istead of .xml that should do the trick

Err I dont understand isit something touch pad like F1? Isit something like a mixer?
Jaime Gavela over 10 years ago

No, none of the above :) It's a preparation mapping. Wich means that it makes it easier to place/adjust beatgrid, add remove cue points & and other tipycal stuff that you would usually do with your mouse.

Hi this looks very good ! I will try it ! maybe it would be great to combine it in a set with the new MKII and a Z1
Jaime Gavela over 10 years ago

Thanx. It's mainly for preparation of tracks, hot cues, beat grids and such. But I use it on the fly while DJing, if a need to fix(prep) a track while DJing. Takes me about 30 sec. Very convenient :)
