Aleeway's Mega Mixtrack Pro Mapping
Description and Instructions
I made this having been inspired by my new NS6, so you could say it has
somewhat of a Serato influence, haha. I wanted to lay it out like the
Mixtrack [Pro] was labeled, mostly at least.
Scratch has been remapped as a Shift button, and also engages Flux Mode.
Back has been remapped as an Auxilary shift button, more on that later.
---Transport:
-Cue, Play, Stutter/CUP work regardless of Shift.
-Tempo faders work regardless of Shift.
-Pitch Bend buttons have been remapped, see Effects.
-Keylock works normally.
-Sync does a Tempo Sync now.
-The jogwheel pitch bends if you turn it only on the silver rim, it scratches if it senses something on the black top.
--[Shift]
--The platter works in "Slip Mode", if you're not familiar with Flux Mode.
--Sync now toggles Beatgrid Sync.
---Looping:
-Manual/Auto switching still works. Manual when the button LED is off, Auto when the button LED is on.
-In, Out have not changed. Note Reloop just changes Loop Active On/Off now.
-1 Bar, 1/2, and 2X functions have not changed on Auto.
--[Shift]
-Manual/Autoloop functions have been disabled. All four loop buttons now initiate Loop Roll! From left to right, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 beat loops. The button you use to start the roll will turn its LED off, and the roll will only terminate when you release that button. If you press and release any other button (besides the one you started with) in the roll, it will default back to the starting loop size. Bear this in mind; ex. you can jump between 1/8, 1/4, 1/8, 1/4, but not 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/4, for example.
---Hotcues:
-All three hotcue buttons function like they should, controlling hotcues. Buttons will light up if a hotcue is stored. Note that I have mapped them to control Hotcues 2, 3, and 4. This is because Hotcue 1 in Traktor is usually the Grid hotcue, if you analyze your tracks, and if you delete it by accident, then your beatgrid vanishes and all your grid sync is thrown off. Change it to 1, 2, 3 if you wish.
-Hold Delete and press the associated hotcue button to delete it. Note you must HOLD Delete while you press the hotcue button, not press, release, and press hotcue button.
--[Shift]
-Hotcue jumping will be available, as Flux Mode is turned on.
---Effects (GROUP MODE REQUIRED.):
-FX Unit 1 on the left, Deck A, FX Unit 2 on the right, Deck B.
-Pitch Bend (-) on each side controls FX Unit 1 On/Off for that deck.
-Pitch Bend (+) on each side controls FX Unit 2 On/Off for that deck.
-Effect button turns on and off the effect.
-Select knob selects effect.
-Middle control knob controls effect magnitude.
-Right control knob controls Dry/Wet for the Unit.
-PRESS and RELEASE the Select knob to rotate through the three effects in each unit. The Hotcue buttons will light up (1, 2, or 3) or darken to indicate which effect you have just selected.
-HOLD the Select Knob and HIT the Effect button to release all three effects. For emergencies, convenience when running multiple effects, etc.
--[Shift]
-No shift functions for Effects.
---Mixer:
-Cue Gain has been remapped to control Master Gain.
-Cue Mix still controls Cue Mix.
-High adjust adjusts high frequencies.
-Mid adjust adjusts mid frequencies.
-And low adjust adjusts low frequencies :)
-Headphone Cueing works as normal.
-Volume Faders work for each deck normally.
-The Master Gain fader now controls Crossfader Curve. Up for smoother curve, down for sharper curve (for scratching).
--[Shift]
-No shift functions for Mixer.
---Browse:
-The Browse knob will sort through both files and folders. Press to change between the two, the LEDs will light up to indicate which one you are in.
-Load A and Load B work as you would expect.
-Back has become an Alternate Shift button, see below.
-[Shift]
-Load A and Load B becomes Instant Double, duplicating A's track to B, or B's track to A.
-------[Auxilary Shift Functions (HOLD "Back" button)]:
-------Cue buttons will temporarily toggle Snap and Quantize. Left (A) is Snap, Right (B) is Quantize; the buttons will light up to tell you if they are on or not.
-------Keylock buttons will now cycle between pitch fader sensitivity. The recommended sensitivity is 4%, but you can cycle through 2%, 4%, and 8% for each deck.
-------Because I know I'll forget, if you hold Back and press the Load buttons, it'll still duplicate the tracks as described earlier with the actual Shift button.
-------Most importantly, the platters will now Seek instead of scratch/pitchbend. This isn't the Shift button you want to be mashing all the time, which is why I'm calling Back the Auxilary Shift button.
-------Because I loved playing around with the other side of the DJ Software world so much, I included "Super Filter Mode". Some of you know what I'm talking about :P. To initiate it, in similarly complicated fashion, you must hold down both Scratch buttons and then press Back. The Scratch buttons will now flash to the beat of the music like the Sync buttons to indicate you are in SFM! The Mid EQ Knobs now control bass on the Mixer, and the Bass EQ Knobs are now Filter Knobs! Have fun! (To turn it off, press one of the Scratch buttons and Back. Little glitchy if you hold down both though).
Finally, I've put in comments into most parts of the mapping, feel free to see how it works if you want.
About me, this is the first mapping I'm uploading, although probably the 15th mapping I've made on my own. The biggest one I've ever made though!

Hey, this is the guy on the original Aleeway account here. I lost the admin credentials for the original account, and just made another. The mapping is being updated here :: https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/2076
Loop Roll has been brought up to full spec, soft takeovers have been added, next update will focus on lightening the load and reducing the number of individual mappings it uses.
