Make surethat your device is readyfor "Using DJ software other then Serato DJ”!

This can be found in the Pioneer DDJ-SX Manual on Page25&26 on how to change this mode.

Start the DDJ-SX in Utility settings and check if the button Key Lock is On.

Otherwise, this mapping will not work!Import the mapping ONLY with the Import button otherwise your results will be out of order and the FXpresets will not work properly!

After the import you will get 2 separate maps, and you must select the DDJ-SX In & Out Ports In your settings for both of these maps.

Overview concerning the latest update (v9.4):

- Now the echo out deactivates when you load a new sound in the Deck concerned.

- Bugs &Issues : (v9.3) Repaired the SHIFT + ROLL bug / (v9.2) Repaired the THRU Modus for the mixer.

- Press the CENSOR button to gradually slow down the music.Press SHIFT+CENSOR button to make a Reverse.

- The Faders of the Mixer initialize automatically when Traktor is started up.

-FXUnits1 & 2 are now Manual only,AUTOFXis deleted!

- Press theTAP FX1button to select 6 favorite FX1& FX2 effects.Press theTAP FX2 button to select 6 other favoriteFX1& FX2 effects previously assigned in the mapping file!You can change these effects yourself,they can be found in the map DDJ-SX.part1 and have the comment FAVORITES TAP1-2.

-The SLICER mode (FX PAD)works with FX1 & FX2.When you activate a pad effect, you can change its value in real time with the knobs of FXUnits 1 & 2!

-The FX3 Unit is reserved for the ComboFX and JogWheelFX. You can not use the Combo FX and Jog WheelFX at the same time (one disables the other).

- Press SHIFT+HotCue buttons to access 7ComboFX which are controllable with the Sampler Volume Fader. You can return to the ROLL,SLICER or HotCue Mode after(again) selecting a ComboFX.

- Press SHIFT+SLICER buttons to access the7 Jog Wheel FX forthe pads1-7. You can return to the ROLL,SLICER or HotCue Mode after(again) selecting a Jog WheelFX.

- Conduct an ECHO OUT with Pad8 during ROLL,SLICER, ComboFX or Jog Wheel FX Mode.

- PressSHIFT+PLAYto create aECHO OUT.

- PressSHIFT+Button1-4to choosebetweenfourECHO OUTsettings.

- Press BACK then press the BROWSER knob to loada song for previewing. Press BACK and turn the BROWSER knobto Forward or Rewindthe song.

-The HotCue Roll Mode wasadded by using thePARAMETER<>buttons (inHotCueMode).

-Turn the Jogwheeland hold thePlay/Pauseor CENSORbutton tomake aBackspin.

- The RemixDeck now supportsup to 32samples per bank (4x 8samples)!

- Press theSHIFT+MASTERCUEbuttonsfor presettingthe Headsetfunction (Auto/Manual). InAuto mode, select aCUEMonitoringdisablesotherCUEMonitoringor presstwoCUEmonitoringat the sametime to activate both.

- LEDs-Loop 1/2Xand2Xindicatethe position of theselectedloop length.

-The LEDs concerning the Tempo Fader (pitch)now also support synchronization.They indicate if the deck is ahead or behind the MASTER TEMPO!If the plates are correctly synchronized both LEDs will light up.

hi jaja, first of all big up for your great work! now let's go to my point: i've always used your mapping with my ddj-sr, and now finally with my new ddj-sx! but I found a very strange thing on the effect/slice section now:the effects are no the same I've always seen on my SR. Can you tell me how can I put those effects on my SX? Tks a lot!

Hola! primero debo decirte que tu mapa es excelente y disfruto mucho utilizándolo. Felicitaciones por tu trabajo. Quería consultar por dos situaciones que experimento una es que al usar una tornamesa con vinilos reales y el conmutador imput/select en phono al dar play en el deck traktor del mismo canal, salen ambos audios, es decir en posición phono no corta pc. esto es un tema del mapeo o es otro el problema? sea ch1 o ch2. y la otra duda es que suele quedar fijo el led del jobs mientras esta en play, y en ciertas ocasiones queda todo el sistema bloqueado, como si la sx y traktor n0 estuvieran comunicados. nuevamente Gracias !!! Bonjour, nickel après 4 moi d'utilisation super boulot. J'en profite pour partager et faire un retour sur l'utilisation de l’écho out (pad 8) celui-ci ne se désactive pas automatiquement au retour sur les hot cue après avoir quitté le mode slicer ou roll,et du coup je me suis fait piéger a plusieurs reprise en voulant envoyer le morceau suivant.....pas de sont ,les vu mettre ok et gros stress. L'objet de mon poste est le suivant ,peut mapper en complément le clavier PC afin d’accéder aux moteur de recherche des track et d'en ressortir. Je s'ai que le SX à laissé la place au SZ mais si tu as un petit moment pour répondre a ma requette, Merci

Salut, oui moi aussi, ça m'arrive de faire la même erreur! Je ne souhaite pas désactiver l'echo out lorsque l'ont retourne sur hotcue. Sais tu que lorsque l'ont est justement en hotcue, il est possible de faire un echo out en appuyant sur Shift+Play! Je peux faire autre chose, me désactiver lorsque l'on charge un nouveau son. Ça me paraît plus pratique! L'echo out est justement le grand changement du prochain mapping pour sz et sx2!

Bien le fait de désactiver l’écho out au chargement d'un nouveau track est parfait et évite le mauvais stress, j'en rigole aujourd'hui mais je me suis fait un sacrée blanc en live, je n’était pas fière et j'ai vu rouge surtout qu'a l’époque j'avais plein de problème avec W7.(drivers , usb....)

hi there seems to be a nice mapping, i am still unable to decide whether i should buy an s4 mkII or an ddj sx... :/ so here are my questions to the mapping: -does it fully support traktor 2.6.7? Hello, everything works well with this mapping except LOOP RECORDER. It is up to you to choose your machine! I prefer the Standard Pioneer and there is no problem to use the KontrolF1 or X1 or others. look at my videos and you will see that I also have a F1.

I have tried since August 2013 to import your .tsi to no avail. I can import Vipers and Pioneers own .tsi, but, alas, not your ArtWork JaJa .tsi. I have factory restored the DDJ-SX and I have today upgraded firmware from 1.05 to 1.07. I have rebooted Traktor, rebooted the SX, rebooted the brand new Haswell MBP Retina running OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks and still no go with your current or even former .tsi. I am beginning to think my SX is jinxed concerning your .tsi. I have tried on two different Macs running a fully licensed Traktor Pro 2.6.7 (R337). I have simply run out of ideas. Any suggestions?!

SOLUTION: After Import you need to manually go into Settings>Controller Manager>Device Setup>In Port> Select>Pioneer DDJ-SX (and also Out Port>Select Pioneer DDJ-SX). This move is not needed with other the two .tsi I have tried.

I'm looking for some help on a issue I just started having with my DDJ SX. Using the latest v.9 Traktor mapping it seems to affect my headphones from my decks. In serato mode it works but not when I'm using traktor! Your thoughts?

Hy again. I am bothering you with another question. In decks layout i selected advanced. And in advanced tabs i selected the grid . But is something in your mapping that makes it always jumps to cue tab. I want to keep it on grid or move.Pls help me. Regards.

Hy, first of all excuse my english , i am not native. Second....GREAT MAPPING. It's really awsome but i would like to make some changes in the slicer mode and i couldn't managed to find what i was looking for. For example in slicer mode 1 i would like four values for beatmasher 2 on fx unit4 instead of 2 values plus two another effects . In jogfx i would like one of the seven jogeffects with another value in dry/wet and again i couldn't find it. In slicer mode 3 i think i would like to change the bass-o-matic effect with laserslicer and again i couldn't find it. In roll mode with one parameter on i would like to have more values to beatjump (for example 1, 4,16,32 forward and backward). Would you be good and guide me for those chnages? REGARDS.

salut, je ne peux pas vous aidez a modifier ma cartographie car elle est comme je le souhaite. Beaucoup de gens me demande des modifications personnel mais je ne peux pas faire une cartographie pour chaque personne, c'est très long et complexe a réaliser. Pour changer le Beatjump vous pouvez utiliser les commandes SHIFT+IN et SHIFT+OUT!

Hi there, I've recently purchased a DDJ SX and trying to get it running with Traktor 2.6.4. I have followed Youtube videos on installing th emapping and your instructions but I am still having a couple of issues. -It will only allow one cue button to be lit up at once unless I press them at exactly the same time. -The Pads for the roll only do a fraction of the available loops ( Nothing longer than 1/2) -The Slicer doesn't work. This is so frustrating, wanna jam! Please help. Thank you very much.

For the group 3, the jogwheel FX, is touching the jogwheel suppose to activate the FXs, if so this feature isn't working for me.

I'm having troubles with the jobwheel, the mixer is the in the right mode and i have even played with the hardware midi send settings in utility mode. When the track is playing the jogwheels only serve as pitch bend (the vinyl button on or off), but when the track is not playing the jogwheel works fine? Other than that great mapping, the best out there!

Hello, merci beaucoup pour ce mapping et ces vidéos qui facilitent vachement l'adaptation sur Traktor!! Par contre, j'ai un petit soucis au niveau de mes boutons play, ils clignotent pas de manière régulière...L'un clignote quand je fais pause, l'autre non, etc... Ca pourrait venir du mapping tu penses?

Ouf,content que ce soit le mapping et pas mon DDJ SX ^^ Autre problème que j'ai pu constater, quand on passe la platine de gauche en "vinyl", l'effet de la jog reste CD contrairement au deck de gauche! Encore une fois, je ne sais pas si c'est généralisé mais j'ai ce soucis! Merci pour tout ça en tous cas, c'est top, moi qui était habitué à Traktor je le redécouvre maintenant!

I still can not monitor my cues in this mapping. The master comes through my headphones, and the "headphones mix" knob does not affect the sound to where i can only hear the track i am trying to cue. Any suggestions? I also do have my output monitor routing to DDJ-SX headphones R and L and my master output to DDJ-SX master L and R in the preferences.

JaJa Hi, thank you very much for your great work. I'm playing through a Traktor many years and I exchanged S4 for DDJ-SX, because I think that controller from Pioneer is better. Serato does not me and I'm glad you created this mapping so that it can be used with DDJ SX software Traktor Pro. Thank you again and I wish you every success in your future endeavors.

Hi, my problem is fixed now! Thank you very much. After I installed the Traktor 2.6.4 it worked again (with the v.7.1). Tommorows i will try the v.8.0 but i think it will work as good as all the other versions! Good job again and thanks

Hi jaja first of all congrats for the mapping and thank you for all the hard work that you'r sharing with us....I have 3 issues...first of all the slicer doesn't work at all(im using 2.6.3 licenced version)second i can't change the default effects at the mapping in the comments of the mapping i i find the "favoris 1....favoris 2 that have "no effects" when im changing that nothing happens.and a third one how can i play the 3 and the 4 sample on the sample slot......Thanks again for all the work you've done

hi, for Slicer, if you talk about the function that is in Serato DJ, not can not reproduce in traktor! on mapping the Slicer = Fx on pad and if that does not work is that you missed a step installation! For favorites I assumed that it is not to me to choose favorites for each user effects! I made a video on YouTube that explains how to change favorite effects but the video is in French. for samples you can use the 1 and 2 of each page but not 3 and 4. With this mapping there is the word file that explains all this in English and French. if you have problems just on Facebook, it's easier for me

Why hello! Just got my DDJ-SX today and your mapping is absolutely fantastic + so many extra features I can not just get enough of. Thanks you so much! One thing I hope you could update into a mapping would be the echo out / delay freeze mapped to a button. I find this effect very useful when transitioning between different genres, and especially big gaps in BPM. I hope to hear from you :).

hello , are already effects "echo out" SLICER (Led parameter ◀ on) mode, but we must remain press the pad to hear the "hold" effect ! on the next mapping, there will be a "Toggle" mode to echo out

Hi again 1,000,000 Thanks, If it is not Hard for you my frind, can you please change the Tsi mapping file that the space bar in Roll will be: 1\8 1\4 1\2 1 in the 4 pads up and 2 4 8 16 or 4 8 in pads down ( like in the serato dj) and can you add that when loop is on will be a way to move it on line playing (like in the s4 \ s2 \ x1) Thanks again, Roby Noy Dj's

Salut DIEGO MONTORO,tu peux télécharger gratuitement traktor 2.6.1 sur le site de native instruments si tu a une licence officiel. ce que sais c'est la fonction SLIP=FLUX MODE ne fonctionne pas avant traktor 2.5.
