Description and Instructions

HI Guys

I want to present you my Kaossilator pro mapping for Traktor 2.5.
  1. First of all you have to download the Kaossilator pro editor (here the link http://bit.ly/OJZ8Lq). Now make a double click on the .koa file.
  2. When the editor is open click on the ext.control&global tap and hit the transmit button in the editor
  3. you Kaossilator is now loading for a short time ( 1 to 30 seconds)
  4. Import the .tsi file into traktor.
  5. check that your third and fourth fx bank are in use. (change it in the traktor settings if not)
  6. press shift and EXT.CTRL (8) to change the Kaossilator into midi mode.
  7. Load a track and allow the third fx bank to the deck where's the song playing.

Now you ready to go.

  • The buttons from 1 - 4 are group FX presets
  • The buttons from 5 - 8 are single FX presets
  • the gate arp. fader is mappet to the dry/wet fader
  • A is the single FX on
  • B - D is mappet to the three FX Buttons
everything is mappet to the third FX bank.

In the Manual is a description about "how to activate USB Midi Mode" ... I forgot to write that you have to do it first ... I'm reading it again and write a exact description in 2 weeks. If you can't wait read it for your own and please write me a comment if it works.

Followed the instructions, external control mode is enabled but I'm getting no response in traktor from the kaossilator

followed the instructions and it only seems that when i press 1 i get a group fx preset, but 2, 3, and 4 do not change to any other group fx presets... when i press 5, i get a single fx preset, but 6, 7, and 8 do not change to any other single fx presets.. gate arp isn't doing anything at all. A button doesn't do anything at all. B, C, and D don't do anything at all.

Definitely will be checking this out! I bought my Kaossilator about a year and a half ago just as something fun to mess around with but after i got tired of it, decided to see if it was mappable to traktor but had no success (I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to mapping things, lol). Was about to sell it until I fond this. I'll get back to you and let you know what I think!
