AKAI AMX Traktor 2 Decks Mapping
Description and Instructions
Very simple mapping that allows you to mix with 2 decks, use loops and 2 FX.
1 shift button allows for double use of knobs for FX and a couple buttons.
differences
- gain knobs become jog wheels
- cue gain becomes loop size
- xfade curve becomes cue volume (headphones)
in the image
- green is for SHIFT (you need to HOLD the shift button to use these)
- sync/cue/play/browse/volume faders/crossfader/eq's/filter/headphones/load are exactly what they are supposed to be

Please have a look at my 2019 AMX mapping for TP3, which is the best way to unlock DVS.

I'm always interested in AMX mapings, to thanks for sharing this!
This mapping is indeed a very simple, 1-shift only, fully symmetric 2-deck mapping with loops + custom FX control.
I prefer my own extensions to Stewe's very complete / very complex mapping (4 decks, hotcues, beatjump, tempo control, insta-FX, touch loop roll), but I get your idea with this one.

Suggestions:
- all controls should use "soft takeover" - since you are sharing the buttons for many things
- filter should be automatically enabled
- right sync is on hold mode
- without too much complexity I would add more "green" features to the mapping, using shift:
+ sync = master
+ cue = move to start
+ play = flux mode
+ gain = track search
