HETTO/MCX8000/DJ Player Pro/4 Decks
Description and Instructions
HETTO’s Midimap for DJ Player Pro and the Denon MCX8000.
version 1.0.1
This midi map actually comes in two; ‘HETTO MCX8000 4D DJPP 1.0.1.djpmap’ and ‘HETTO MCX8000 HM DJPP 1.0.1.djpmap’
‘4D’ stands for ‘four decks’ and ‘HM’ stands for ‘Hybrid Mixing’.
The only difference between the two is that the HM map does not have the LED mapped for the channel input meters of deck 1 and 2. (Because it currently causes a lighting conflict while using Engine on USB at the same time). So, the HM map is only preferred while also mixing with Engine on USB on channel 1 and 2. You can safely use the 4D map while in ‘Hybrid Mixing Mode’, but the LED’s on channels 1 and 2 might flicker. That’s all.
You can safely switch maps while mixing.
This map includes many advanced (DVS)/FX assigning and also makes use of the 4 Pad modes:
1- Cues (1 to 8)
2- Auto Loops (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 beats)
3- STEMS
4- FX
- STEMS
Control: DJPP
supports the N.I. STEMS format. You have on screen control over the
four individual: Volumes, Filters, FX assign. With the MCX8000
you have access to the part Mutes
and FX
assign.
(I have a small add-on controller hooked to the MCX8000’s USB port to get hands on control over the parts volume levels and filters as well. More on that some other day maybe)
- Many really cool (DVS) related features and advanced FX stuff like DVS FX, Fader FX, Main Parameter All FX, Secondary Parameter All FX, Jog FX deck specific, Jog FX All Jogs, Needle Strip track searching …
- Auto Loops and FX 1,2,3 on/off are doubled. They are accessible with their own buttons/knobs, but also via the pad modes.
The pads for deck 1 to 4 have the color that matches DJ Player pro’s default deck colors.
