AKAI AMX Traktor mapping
Description and Instructions
This mapping is for AKAI AMX controller. Designed for Serato, but now works with Traktor. Tested with PC & Mac Traktor Pro version 2.6.
All works as it should. However, some things...
- I ignored some "red" (shift) functions. No DVS, STTR and Sync off. Sync is in toggle mode - much better.
- Monitor cueing is strange. Not my act. When you press one cue "on", other cue will go "off". When you press them together, both will stay "on".
- X-Fader reverse works as X-Fader off/on.
And don't forget to install drivers!

Very good job. Function at very big range. good for work.
Notice for improvements: The browser change files not only traks.
If you are in the same volume at serato and traktor, at traktor the led lights are always red..clipping.

Please have a look at my 2019 AMX mapping for TP3, which is the best way to unlock DVS.

hi, so the DVS with traktor vinyl isn't working at all?? is it not possible or this mapping is made that way?? thx

Hi Vahur,
I appreciate your effort for making this mapping but I must say it is full of bugs!
Problem is not the ignored "red" functions, that is no big deal.
As you say, left Monitor Cue is very bad, it affects play/pause of song.
Biggest problems are:
.Left Fader affects left Hi EQ
.Right Fader affects left Mid EQ
.Left Filter affects left Low EQ
.Right Play/Pause button affects left song at same time of right song
.X-Fader makes little scratch noise if you touch it, even if Off.
Please correct these bugs to present a decent mapping.
My suggestion, try to keep it working as original mapping for Serato. It works so perfectly on Serato, but I simply prefer Traktor ;)
