Description and Instructions
I have created a couple of midi effects racks that allow you to play Launchpad project files on your Push! If you have ever tried to use your Push as a Launchpad before you would have discovered that the Push outputs different notes than the Launchpad and also that the respective light show (which would have been completely mucked up) would have the wrong colors. These devices solve both these problems and allow you to use your Push as you would a Launchpad.

So this is not working on my push 2. Is is push1 specific? I'm able to get a few sounds but no lights and no music

I'm confused on how to switch drum racks. I loaded a launchpad project file (below) and I'm able to play it in User mode, but I can't figure out how to change the drum rack (mapped to side buttons on the launchpad)

Never mind! Its working perfectly! i didnt know i needed to go into abletons preferences and turn on "track" and "remote" for the user mode on push to function.
Thanks for the time you put into this! i had a launchpad, and returned it for a push because i thought it had similar functionality plus lots more, but until i came across your midi mapping, i thought i was going to be sorely disappointed. you saved the day!

i followed your guide and im not sure what im doing wrong. when i hit user on my push, nothing works. even after following your guide step by step. it works outside of user mode but none of the samples are where they would be on the launchpad. in session view if i click on my led rack i get sounds and lights, but not in the right place, and then if i switch to the instrument rack, i only have 16 pads and the rest is the push's step sequencer. then i hit the "user" button and the whole thing goes dark and nothing works. HALP plz?
