This is the result of what I had beeing working on the controls setup for my BCD3000 on Traktor 2,

before and after I met the Ean Golden´s videos about his "Jog Effects" setup for the Traktor S4 controller.

Those videos opened my mind, and I tried to do my best on adapting what I saw there to my own controller setup.

So I kept what I had already developed and I added this new "Jog Effects Mode", wich can be activated by the press of a button!

And this really improved my mixing a lot, adding a new "instrument playing" feeling to my interaction with Traktor 2 tools,

changing for better my effects tweaking, glitching, atmosphere creating, drop introducting, in other words, making easier to use

my creativity on mixing, bringing everything I need near to my fingers, right on time!

Tips for configuration:

Make sure you have the keyboard configurations linked to your keyboard, and both the saved configurations

for the controller linked to your BCD3000, I had to split my setup in two configurations as an easy way to keep

my "Before Ean Golden" configurations.

You have to switch between Chained and Advanced effects mode on both effects side (1 and 2) on the Effects Configuration

Menu. I like to switch back to Advanced when I am using the BCD3000 to scratch live together with a band, with no audio playback.

You can also, on the controller configuration menu, change the effects selected on each one of the 6 effects banks I created, and adjust the way they will change

when you move your jog wheels. You can determinate wich one will increase or decrease when you turn it right or left,

and also change their acceleration and sensitivity, this will change a lot the resulting combination of effects changing the sounds you make.

Deck A and B work differently on Jog Effects Mode, because Deck B keeps controlling the scratch on the loaded track, besides it changes the effects parameters,

so that allows you to make some scratchs using effects as a voice changer, just by changing the region of the jog wheel that you´re using.

So use Deck B and A wisely when you are loading the tracks, trying to keep the playback track on Deck A, and making loose scratchs and loops on Deck B.
