This mapping lets you mix in Traktor with only the F1 as a controller.  I designed it to use it at bbq's or small parties where there isn't room for a full setup, but I still want to mix comfortably.

Controls:  2 Decks with Low/High EQs and 4 Hotcues each; Loop size and set; Control of one FX unit; Full Browse/Preview mode; Headphone Cue vol., etc.

Click the image below, then in the pop-up window, right-click and select View Image or Save Image As to see the full-size version.  To install, first clear any custom configurations in the NI Control Editor, and custom mappings in Traktor.  Then load the .tsi file. You'll want to show all of the mixer and the global area or you won't be able to see what you're doing.

There are other mappings for using the F1 as a primary controller, but I wanted to make one that 1) doesn't need an external mixer or decks, 2) was oriented to traditional track mixing (with looping) rather than hotcue juggling, 3) just controls 2 decks, but in a way that feels natural to me. 

I have an S4, but there are times when I can't/don't want to bring it, and there's no other control available.  I can show up with only my laptop, F1, headphones, a DJ splitter cable and be able to DJ in mono, or if there's an audio interface available, then in stereo.  This is also good for set/playlist preparation and headphones mixing when you're traveling.
