"The most comprehensive user mode mapping for the Kontrol F1."

This mapping takes advantage of traktor's unique NHL communication to provide the highest resolution controls available.
As well as giving full control over all 4 decks. This mapping also features highly visual feedback for almost every command Traktor has to offer.
If you are using a four deck controller many of the controls may be redundant, however I guarantee at least some will give you an advantage.
A perfect companion for a two deck controller, you can finally control four decks simultaneously.
The only thing preventing this from being a standalone mixer is the lack of filter and EQ controls (can't quite come to terms with a horizontal EQ).     

Key features include:

- 7 unique pages of controls
- A unique shift page for each of the 7 pages.
- Visual volume outputs
- Beat phase outputs allowing visual beat matching
- Dedicated brake stop and delay freeze effects
- Full visual outputs for HotCues and HotCue type selection
- "Key Select" Browse mode
- Unique "dual state crossfader" consisting of three buttons
- Full control over all four effect units.

Setup instructions:

- In the preferences menu, under the F1 tab, select the User Mode option in Midi Mode Type.

- Import "F1 User Ultimate.TSI" using the small import button.

- If Key Select Mode is desired, import "F1 User Ultimate Key Select.TSI" with the large import button, read the last page of the manual for complete setup info.
*Importing this .TSI will replace all favorites folders, their playlists will be untouched however.

- Locate the Traktor.Kontrol F1.User.TSI file under devices in the controller manager, and select it.

- Click the edit button and select delete to remove the standard user map.

- On the F1 hold Shift and press Browse 4 - 5 times, you have done this correctly when the display toggles between P1 for remix deck mode, and 1 for the Ultimate User map.
*In port / Out port may have to be set manually, but with a little tweaking it seems to always figure itself out.

Another important note is that I have left GUI layout and effects settings out of both .TSI files. Normally these are key to ensuring mappings behave properly. Since this mapping covers most controls, you can leave your settings as is. The worst that will happen is that the mapping will lack controls that you do not already use.
I recommend having four decks enabled (track deck or remix deck), as well as four effects units and all effects enabled. (Selecting effects is finally easy, each one will be given a number to show on the display, which is determined by their position in the effects pre-select menu.)
