Ableton 9 MF 3D Launcher

Description and Instructions

A simple script to bring back compatibility for Midi Fighters with Ableton 9.7 (for previous versions of Ableton download the older edits of this map on the right)

-----------
 SETUP
-----------
1. Open your MF Utility application and import the MF3D_Launcher_settings.mfs from File->Import Settings. You may change the Motion settings as you wish,
but make sure that the Bank Buttons setting is set to Four Banks Enabled. Also some colors will not be affected from the setting as they are by the script.
2. Copy the downloaded folder "MF3D_Launcher" to your Ableton Live's MIDI Remote Scripts folder.
Located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ableton\Live x.x\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\ under Windos or right click on your Ableton's app and click "Show Package Contents and navigate to
\Contents\App-Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\ for Mac OSX
3. Launch Ableton Live and go to Preferences. Under MIDI Sync tab select MF3D Launcher in the Control Surface drop down list and set the
correct input and output MIDI ports. Also make sure that the Track is set to On for the Drum Rack page to function properly.

Comments for v1.3.0

It works - thank you. Now then ... is there any way to edit this? E.g. change the number of tracks in the red box (I'd like 3 + scene buttons), change number of scenes (I'd like 3 with the bottom row saved for transport buttons), change lighting feedback (there is no visual cue for a clip that is being recorded, which I don't like). I tried making changes to the json file but that didn't seem to have any effect.

Replying to my own comment ... I signed up for remotify (had to go for the Pro option). Managed to import the json file into that, modified it as I wanted, exported ... it's all good. If anyone is interested I'd be happy to share - though to be fair it is pretty specific to my own requirements. (I guess that's kind of the point of remotify.)

Glad to hear! That's why I included the json and py files.
