2 Deck + Samples (w/ Instant Grat & Sample Rec.)

Note: If you have updated to the latest MF3D firmware (30 May 2013) you may need to load the Legacy->Standard firmware for this mapping to work as expected.
This can be found in the Tools->Alternate Firmware section of the MF Utility
This is the mapping shown in my Youtube video including ALL 4 Banks. It's a mapping designed to work for a 2 Deck w/Sample Decks layout. It's even more powerful when used with a proper Controller such as the Traktor Kontrol S2 (my personal choice)
The banks are mapped to control:
1. Instant Gratification (Modded to control Hot Cue 1 and Pause/Play for the FOCUSED Deck plus Turning ON/OFF all 4 effects for Decks A & B on the top row buttons)
2. Samples (Row 1 Controls Sample Deck C. Row 2 Controls Muting of Sample Deck C Samples. Row 3&4 do the same but for Sample Deck D)
3. Mapped to give you Control over Hot Cues 1-4, Play/Pause, Tempo Bend FRW/BACK and TEMPO Sync of Decks A & B
4. Gives FULL Control of the Sample Recorder with the first 2 Rows. The Bottom 2 Rows allow you to INSTANTLY assign the recorded Sample to Any slot in Sample Decks C & D

It's mainly meant for S2 users. The S4 has a whole section devoted to the sample recorder. The S2 does not, so this bank has it set up to make it easier and faster to record samples or loops and assign them to a sample deck on the fly. Further this was indeed done on a Windows PC but I see no reason why it shouldn't work on a Mac assuming it sends out the exact same MIDI COMMAND. Make sure you select MIDI FIGHTER 3D as the IN and OUT in the controller manager. Hope that explains a bit for you?

Well it's mainly meant for ease of use. Why would I have a bank devoted to a sync, hot cues, and pitch bending when thats also set up on an S2 and S4. Same with the Sample triggers. It's meant for those who preffer cue points on the MF buttons (or modify it to control cues 5-8). It's all about ease of use. I did also state that I have the same mapping with the whole 4th Bank BLANK for those who rather do something else with it.

How do you import this Mapping. All the download wants to do is go online and show me a blank page, I can't import it because it' grayed out. It looks like a cool mapping but we need some instructions on how to import it.

All you have to do to DOWNLOAD this mapping is log in, go to the top of this and click the blue button that says DOWNLOAD. As far as importing, on Traktor, go to the settings page and than click on CONTROLLER MANAGER and than at the top of the page where it says DEVICE.... click on it, at the bottom it should say IMPORT and than import this mapping you downloaded :)
