Description and Instructions

Allright: today the new Traktor update came along, and I coud not wait to map my little nanoPAD2 to the remix decks. You need to know the following:
  • It only uses the first scene of the nanoPAD.
  • It works with focused remix deck.
  • The X-Y pad is mapped so one of the axis scrolls through the remix deck pages. When you have it aligned with a mixer, lookin "upwards", the XY pad is on the top end. That way, you scroll moving in a downwards fashion on the pad. (On the image it will get clearer).
  • Each group of 4 buttons in a column are mapped to a slot in the remix deck, So, you have 4 slots on the scene.
  • It only works with triggers. I have not mapped mute, stop, or anything else, for the sake of simplicity.
  • When you scroll, you are able to trigger slots 1-4 on page 1, 5-8 on page 2, and so on. You get the idea.
So, that's about it. Load up a remix deck, and instant gratification! You can remix the world!

Hello! Awesome mapping. You should continue updating it. ;) Maybe you can add some more features. I can help you out. :) eg. 1st scene remix decks (and all controls, like play/stop etc.) 2nd scene could be FX one shots. (like beatmashing, gate, and other stuff liks MF3D).

hi, I like your mapping idea unfortunately when I import your midi mapping in traktor I can't see any control assignment list, don't know why.... can anyone explain me how to proprely make it? thx

It always has worked fine for me, but I've read several times that you have to import twice the mappings (in the Import wizard, not just the Import option). Please, let me know if you succeded in working with it!

Actually, I don't know. I've only tried it with my nanoPAD2, but you should definitively try it and tell us if it works!

Great mapping, for some reason only the scroll seems to work for me??? my traktor version is 20.10.2.9 - hoping you can help please?
