Here is my Traktor Mapping for Teenage Engineering's OP-1, version 0.8. 

I am really liking controlling Traktor with the OP-1. It is very well designed, and I think you would be hard pressed to have such a full featured controller in such a small package.

There are two main things to understand.

1.  Single filters are controlled by the white keys, and are only engaged as long as you press the white key.  Super Effects Combos are controlled by the black keys.  Super Combo Effects are released when you press the button on the blue fader.  

On the attached image, items labeled in yellow can be activated without pressing any additional buttons.  The other colors are controlled by their respective buttons.


*  To focus a deck, press the 1-4 buttons that control the track on the
OP-1.  These buttons also clear effects from the deck.  Hotcues for the focused deck are selected by pressing the 1-8 numbers under the fader.

*  The cut and paste buttons above the play button set loop in and out points.  Play starts and stops the focused deck.  Record toggles play and pause on deck A and B, to do a hard drop into another track.  The stop button does a bass swap toggle for decks A and B.

*  < and > beatjump 32

*  The white keys control single effects.  The effect is kept on until the key is released.  These effects act differently then the Super Effects Combos.  When the single effects are activated, you can control them with faders, although you might have to reset them by pushing the blue button when a key is pressed.

*  Browser functions are controlled by the Blue Synth button on the OP-1.  So, if you want to scroll in a folder, hold down the browser (synth) button, then turn the blue fader.  To scroll by folder, hold down that same button, then turn the green fader.  

*  The Green Drum Button engages remix mode.  Press it, and then the sharp keys 1-4 activate remix deck c and the last 4 activate remix deck d. 

In Super Combo Effects Mode, the black keys will key effects combos (that are totally super).  The faders are engaged and the effect is locked until you press the blue fader button.  Not all effects are engaged when you press the black key, with the assumption you might want to build into the combinations.  

The Effect connected to G#4 is an Iceverb/PeakFilter/Reverb sweep.  I wanted all the dials to move as one, so I changed the green fader to move all of them.  If that bugs you, change Modifier 4 from 1 to 0 in the Controller Manager.

*  The Red Tape button is the Move and Loop Menu.  You can set loop length, move length, and beatjump with the encoders.  Also you can delete hotcues 1-8.

*  The Dark Grey EQ button controls the mixer.  The first two faders in this mode control decks A and B Volume, the second two control A and B's Filter.

*  The Tempo button lets you adjust tempo.  The faders control decks A-D tempo, pressing the fader buttons zeros the pitch fader.  And pressing the 1-4 track buttons with the Tempo button pressed toggles sync on and off for all 4 tracks.
