Custom "Scratching" Map for Ion Discover DJ USB Controller.
Description and Instructions
This is a CUSTOM map for using the Ion Discover DJ with Traktor 2.0.3 (Traktor 3 has an issue where the jog wheel is far too slippy to be useful for Scratching, maybe if future versions of Traktor include a feature to adjust the amount of time it takes to resume full playing speed from the point you take your finger off the touch platter it won't be so slippery...)
Anyway, load this file after you plug in the Ion (see the Controller Manager in Traktor, choose Import and locate my custom .TSI file)
When the Scratch Light is on, the jogs will Scratch. Catch-Up time is minimal in Traktor 2, so it's good for scratching. I changed a bunch of stuff but I list all of it in the Comments on the Maping Screen.
When you're in Scratch Mode, Sync is Mute and Rev is "Cut In" (wiggle the Platter around and press one of these Mutes -- it's faster than using the Crossfader).
The Browse Knob works, but Load A and Load B only work when the Scratch Light is OFF (double tap the Scratch Light button to change modes).
