To install it : When you download it you can double click it. The Djay app will open and ask for your permission to install it. Click "Yes". After it installs, close the application

Since the X1 is old; to enable the unit, to be in Midi mode - Plug your X1 in and it will flash for 2 secs. Press SHIFT+HOTCUE and all the lights, light up. Its now in Midi Mode and ready for use.

Now that you can see the lights on. Start up the Djay 2/AI, app and your Midi Controller should be working.
