DDJ-800 MIKONOS Edition
Description and Instructions
This mapping tries to closely replicate the default DDJ-800 mapping, as well as bring out the power of Traktor. It offers four deck control and implements all pad modes.
I am open to suggestions for some better Pad FX and Jog FX, as they are pretty basic.
I have no plans to support Remix or Stem decks, so the Sampler pad mode is mapped to Freeze Mode instead.
As of firmware 1.02, the jog displays are finally supported in MIDI mode. However, Traktor does not support advanced MIDI messages like Rekordbox does, so I am currently looking into using a separate utility to translate those messages.
Installation:
- Open Preferences, click Import and import Effect Settings.tsi.
- Go to Controller Manager, click Add... > Import TSI > Import Other... and import DDJ-800.tsi.
- From the Device dropdown, make sure all DDJ-800 devices have the In and Out port set to DDJ-800.
