you can put this file directly on Ipad Djay folder, replacing the file "AMX.djayMidiMapping" eventually created by MIDI learning.
The play/pause, cue etc keys have light feedback too!
To connect the AKAI AMX controller to an Ipad, use an ORIGINAL Apple camera kit.

Hello skip, thanks for this! It seems to control the app perfectly. However, how do you all get your sound? For me it only works with sound from my iPad itself, not from the AMX. If I connect speakers to the sound output and headphones on my AMX, there is no sound. I have tried setting both mixer mode "Internal" (Output: AMX ch 1-2 and Headphones: AMX ch 3-4) and also tried "External", but there is no sound. I can see the VU-meters move though, and as I wrote if I set to iPad sound it works through the iPad speakers.
I use the latest Djay Pro AI 4.0.3, an Akai AMX, iPad 2018 with the Apple camera kit, Apple iPad charger (the big one), official iPad cable. I also tried it on my iPhone with the same results. No sound through the AMX but from the iDevices it always works...?! Can you describe how you set the sound up?

Me again. I tried changing the charger to a 3-3,25A charger (at 65W) and suddenly I do get sound through the AMX when I set Djays sound device to "Internal" or "External" but it is extremely distorted on both Output and Headphones. Sound is completely broken and there is a weird delay on everything. I have no idea what is going on and can't find any information about this, official or not. Using the AMX with only sound from the iPad/iPhone is rubbish, it should come from the mixer. But... it seems it is not possible...
